Creamy Oats with Grilled Banana
Ingredients
- Oats ( steel cut, rolled grain oats)
- plant based or dairy milk
- Water
- Cinnamon powder
- Ginger powder
- Sea salt
- Blueberries, fresh or frozen
- Walnuts, handful
- Hemp seeds, 1-2 TBS
- Peanut butter, 1 TBS
- 1 banana
- olive oil, drizzle
- POUR oats, seasonings, into a saucepan. Add twice the amount of milk as oats, add water if you want it creamier. Bring to a boil while stirring.
- SIMMER on low heat with top and cook oats according to package instructions.
- CUT banana in half. Mash one half and stir with cooked oats to act as sweetener.
- CUT remaining half of banana into half again. Place into separate pan on medium heat with drizzle of olive oil to grill banana.
- POUR oats into bowl and top with walnuts, hemp seeds, peanut butter, berries, and banana.
