Creamy Oats with Grilled Banana

Ingredients

  • Oats ( steel cut, rolled grain oats)
  • plant based or dairy milk
  • Water
  • Cinnamon powder
  • Ginger powder
  • Sea salt
  • Blueberries, fresh or frozen
  • Walnuts, handful
  • Hemp seeds, 1-2 TBS
  • Peanut butter, 1 TBS
  • 1 banana
  • olive oil, drizzle
  1. POUR oats, seasonings, into a saucepan. Add twice the amount of milk as oats, add water if you want it creamier. Bring to a boil while stirring.
  2. SIMMER on low heat with top and cook oats according to package instructions.
  3. CUT banana in half. Mash one half and stir with cooked oats to act as sweetener.
  4. CUT remaining half of banana into half again. Place into separate pan on medium heat with drizzle of olive oil to grill banana.
  5. POUR oats into bowl and top with walnuts, hemp seeds, peanut butter, berries, and banana.
