Easy and Tasty Pico de Gallo
Ingredients
- 3 tomatoes (roma or whatever kind you like), diced
- Lime Juice ( jarred or fresh from 1-2 limes depending on how juicy they are)\
- Bunch of cilantro fresh or substitute with chopped fresh spinach
- Onion, Red or yellow, chopped
- Jalapeno pepper, diced, deseeded (optional) ( or serrano, pepper of your choice)
- Salt, pepper to taste
- Optional : garlic powder, cumin
- First you will dice up all your veggies and fruit as small as you like. Put them all in a large bowl.
- Chop your cilantro roughly. The pieces don’t have to be as small unless you want it that way. Add that to the bowl.
- Squeeze of fresh or canned lime juice will bring all of the flavors together.
- Season with pinch of salt, taste as you go to see what you like and stir.
- Put it in the fridge. It’s very similar to a good soup or chilli it always tastes better when the flavors have time to mingle a little.
