Program Impact Through the Grant

Through the Ardmore Institute of Health grant, Cooking on Purpose Health delivered 8 biweekly Nourish & Thrive sessions over 16 weeks and hosted hands-on healthy cooking classes designed to help participants practice simple, affordable meals at home.

  • Participants attended 8 physician-led sessions across 16 weeks
  • Dive into group support sessions led by physicians for health coaching.
  • Engage with fellow participants through secure community forums on the Healthie platform.

Participants weren’t given another diet plan — they were given practical tools, cooking skills, and community support to create lasting lifestyle change.

The Nourish & Thrive Community Group created a supportive, judgment-free space where participants could begin shifting their relationship with food toward sustainable, joyful eating habits rooted in real-life practice.

Community Cooking Class

In addition to the 16-week Nourish & Thrive Community Group, Cooking on Purpose Health hosted hands-on community cooking classes that helped participants practice preparing simple plant-forward meals in a supportive learning environment.

These classes focused on building confidence in the kitchen and making healthy eating more accessible in everyday life.
